This short video is a story that’s too common. Although women are equally or more qualified, women are too often snubbed from promotions, recognition, awards, and much more in favor of their male counterparts.
Despite this, Dr. Chien-Shiung Wu continued on her determined and gifted path breaking glass ceilings and opening doors for so many women in the male dominated field of science.
We may not see it or know it when we’re faced by inequity and injustice, but trust that what is happening to you, is happening for you and for the greater good. One woman’s audacious success is everyone’s success.
So thank you Dr. Chien-Shiung Wu for your tenacity to continue doing what is right for you and the world. Your significant contributions have vastly impacted global medicine, health, science, and technology. We are all better off because of you.
